What does Spotify Lyrics Playlist do?+
It captures the synced lyrics of songs you play on the Spotify Web Player, lets you pick your favorites, and turns them into one shareable link. Anyone opening that link sees every lyric with prev / next navigation — no app or login required.
What can I do with the free version?+
The free version captures lyrics automatically, lets you multi-select and drag-to-reorder songs, and generate up to 5 playlist links (up to 20 songs each). Each free link stays valid for 7 days.
What does Pro unlock?+
Pro unlocks unlimited playlist generations (no per-playlist song cap), links that last ~2 years instead of 7 days, and priority support. Translation in the viewer is free for everyone.
Is Pro a subscription or a one-time purchase?+
Pro is a one-time purchase. Pay once and use it forever — no subscriptions, no auto-renewals.
How much does it cost?+
Pro is $19 USD, one-time. The final price is always shown before checkout. Free users get 5 playlist links at no cost.
How do I activate Pro?+
Click "Get Pro" on the pricing page and complete the purchase. Pro activates automatically — the page checks for activation shortly after checkout, and the extension picks up Pro status on its next refresh.
Where do the lyrics come from?+
Lyrics are the synced lyrics Spotify serves for each track. The extension captures them automatically as you play songs in the Spotify Web Player — so you need the Web Player open for capture to work. If a track has no lyrics on Spotify, it can't be captured.
Do people need Spotify to open my playlist link?+
No. The link opens a public lyric viewer on this site. Recipients don't need the extension, a Spotify account, or a Pro plan — they just read the lyrics. Only the person creating links needs the extension and the Spotify Web Player open.
How long do links last?+
Free links last 7 days. Pro links last ~2 years. You can always generate a fresh link for the same songs.
Can I get a refund?+
You can request a refund within 14 days if Pro doesn't work as described and we can't resolve the issue. Contact support@ideaguard.dev. Refund eligibility follows our Terms of Service.
Is this affiliated with Spotify?+
No. Spotify Lyrics Playlist is an independent browser extension. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Spotify. 'Spotify' is a trademark of its respective owner.
